Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the inner surfaces into tension. Toughened Frameless Glass for Staircase in Nigeria.

With a full house refurbishment in progress we were asked to complete the project with both internal and external frameless glass for various areas of the house.

This particular client was keen to have as little ‘framework as possible’ to allow for light to travel throughout the property.

Clear Float Glass (Annealed)

Float Glass also referred to as Annealed is a visually colourless and distortion free glass which provides high light transmission (daylight) and clarity. Clear Float glass is the core base product for most of performance glass products and is commonly used in windows and doors

  • Float glass offers no additional performance benefits in terms of insulation or reduction in solar heat gain
